Where do I even start? My story is all about a mess that God turned into a message of a small town girl who turned to a life of men, toxic relationships, drugs, and alcohol.
I got my bachelors degree in education in 2008 and became an elementary teacher and then addiction spiraled my life out of control.
Soon enough I could not maintain anymore and I lost that career and almost my kids. It took me a couple of times and a stay in federal prison to get it, but man…today God has redeemed me and given me so much.
I have a story of overcoming addictions and restoration of relationships…the biggest ones being with my 2 sons who are 19 and 15. God’s redeeming love has gotten me through the darkest times of my entire life.
I am over 4 years clean and sober and today I get to be a mom to my 2 boys and my 3 year old daughter. I have a new career where the possibilities for success and growth in my life are endless. I manage properties and will soon be working on learning about real estate, and I get to share my story of experience, strength, and hope to others in the program that I where I serve women to hopefully help them.
My life today is so much more blessed than I deserve! There is so much more to my story and I share it often. Kasey thank you so much for sharing your family’s story of experience, strength, and hope and what God’s love can do.
If I had to sum my life up in one word, the word that comes to mind is definitely redeemed…because of the many chances He has given me and because He never gave up on me, I have opportunities beyond my wildest dreams!
